FESTMIH

We are a network of European societies, platforms and forums working in global health and tropical medicine; bringing together over 6000 researchers, health professionals, civil society actors and policymakers.

Join us to improve the health status of people worldwide through joint actions and dissemination of knowledge and research.

Als vereniging maken we deel uit van FESTMIH, the Federation of European Societies for Tropical Medicine and International Health. De Federatie werd opgericht in 1995 tijdens het eerste Europese Congres over Tropische Geneeskunde in Hamburg en is uitgegroeid tot een netwerk van 14 Europese verenigingen en netwerkorganisaties die allen zijn toegespitst op global health, inclusief tropische geneeskunde.

FESTMIH organiseert tweejaarlijks een congres. Het laatste congres, European Conference on Global Health, vond plaats in Utrecht - ECTMIH 2023: SHAPING THE FUTURE OF EQUITABLE AND SUSTAINABLE PLANETARY HEALTH. 

FESTMIH is tevens mede-uitgever van het Europese vakblad Tropical Medicine and International Health (TMIH).
